From a language centre to online courses
Pygmalion Language Centre was founded in Latvia in 2003. Over 23 years it has built a strong team of teachers, an approach of its own and a reputation that students and their families trust.
Pygmalion Academy grew out of that centre - an online programme for children from Russian-speaking families abroad.

The method: language through literature
Culture is the content. Language and thinking are what grow with it.
We read real books and discuss them with the children. A child argues about the characters, looks for exact words, writes texts of their own - and step by step builds language, thinking and the ability to express their ideas. Grammar appears where it is genuinely needed - to say more precisely what you want to say.
- Small groups where everyone speaks
- Lessons are led by qualified philologists and native speakers of Russian
- The programme is built for bilinguals and takes the surrounding language into account
- Online lessons in Zoom
